Gazing out the museum’s windows, its genesis became clearer – and the allegory of flowing water became compelling. Recreated with modern milling, gentle cascading forms bring fluency to words before they are even committed to paper. Writing instruments in our Vintage Class use modern tooling to recapture the dashing glamour of early-era writing silhouettes. Brenta revives audacious 1930s ornamentation with soft briolette faceting. The picturesque banks of the Brenta have provided the setting for more than a century of Italian fountain pen history. The majestic river’s flow inspires subtle contours that shimmer in the light. Symbols of a golden age.
